The forerunner of enotourism: Guido Porro and his wife Giovanna opened the holiday Farm “Cascina S.Caterina” in Serralunga d’Alba in 2000. It was the first holiday farm dedicated to wine in the area. The facility was built near the winery and includes four rooms, two of which with balcony, with a beautiful view over the Langhe, where vineyards and castles are the highlights. Each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a fridge. Breakfast is included in the price. From March to November wine lovers can relax in the comfortable rooms and taste Guido’s wines served with local specialties. The holiday farm “Cascina S.Caterina” is a good starting point to discover the Langhe, the village of Serralunga or the town of Alba.
